The guideline value of 10 μg/l Arsenic requires a field kit capable of performing to laboratory standard. The comprehensive DigiPAsS kit contains all the items required to perform accurate and reliable Arsenic determinations in the field. Using the well-established Gutzeit method the system operates by converting all Arsenic in the sample to Arsine gas and detecting the gas produced quantitatively using a unique three stage filter. (The filter ensures all Arsine is 'seen' by the detector and also prevents excess Arsine or Hydrogen Sulphide being released during the 20 minute reaction time.) Once the reaction is complete the concentration of Arsenic is quickly assessed using a colour chart for levels in excess of 100 μg/l Arsenic or the DigiPAsS instrument for superb accuracy in the 2–100 μg/l Arsenic range.

Each kit contains sufficient reagents and consumables for 420 tests packaged in a robust field carry case.
