Tablet Count Kits provide an extremely simple method of analysis for an important range of water parameters. The tests are particularly useful for the routine control of industrial waters such as boiler waters and cooling water systems, as well as swimming pools, natural waters and similar applications.
The tests are carried out by taking a measured volume of water and adding tablets one at a time until a prescribed colour change takes place. The result of the test is given by the number of tablets used in relation to the volume of water sample taken. A wide range of test concentrations can be measured by varying the sample size taken of the test. The tablet count tests may be used a seperate test kits, or combined with the comparator or photometer test kits.
Every set contains enough reagents for ca 50 tests. The following tests are available:

- AS073: Alkalinity P (0 - 1000 mg/l)
- AS075: Alkalinity P/caustic (0 - 1000 mg/l)
- AS072: Alkalinity total (0 - 500 mg/l)
- AS077: Calcium hardness (0 - 500 mg/l)
- AS079: Chloride (0 - 1000 mg/l*)
- AS078: Cleaning Acid Strength (0 - 10 %)
- AS087: Cyanuric Acid (0 - 200 mg/l)
- AS096: Hardness (0 - 500 mg/l)
- AS101: Hardness Yes/No (4, 8 of 20 mg/l**)
- AS097: Hardness LR (0 - 50 mg/l)
- AS100: Hardness VLR (0 - 5 mg/l)
- AS111: Nitrite (0 - 1500 mg/l)
- AS158: Organophosphonate (0 - 20 mg/l)
- AS113: Permanganate Value (0 - 30 mg/l)
- AS165: QAC (Quatest) (0 - 500 mg/l)
- AS154: Sulphate (0 - 200 mg/l***)
- AS145: Sulphite HR (0 - 500 mg/l)
- AS144: Sulphite LR (0 - 50 mg/l)
- AS171: Tannin (0 - 200 mg/l)
